At Children's Book Workshop, we believe that everyone has the potential to achieve their dreams. I share stories of women who have overcome obstacles, and made progress towards their goals. The inspiring stories are meant to encourage, inspire and to show that although life comes with challenges, we can still achieve greatness at any stage of life and that you can live the life you deserve!
Your mind is a powerful tool. It can help you overcome any obstacle and achieve your goals. Train your mind to think positively and you'll be amazed at what you can accomplish.
This is the first edition of Survivors Emancipation Day. This was my first published book and it didn't turn out as expected. There was a lot of work and revisions that had to be made. Since it was already published, I went with a new cover and look to get it right. Hence, Survivors, Emancipation Day 2nd Edition
I absolutely loved this cover that my business partner, Edmund created for me, but I was told that it was too bold and it may not project what I want my readers to get from the stories in the book. I still may use it for another book.
The first step towards achieving your dreams is believing in yourself. You have the power to accomplish anything you set your mind to, no matter how big or small. Believe in yourself and anything is possible.
Failure is not the opposite of success, it is a part of it. Don't be afraid to fail, it is through our failures that we learn and grow. Embrace failure as a necessary step towards achieving your goals.
The only way to make your dreams a reality is to take action. Don't wait for the perfect moment, start today and take small steps towards your goals every day. Every step counts and brings you closer to your dreams.
Yap-Yap, The Talking Horse was my first book. I started telling this story to the kids in my youngest sons class and decided to put it on paper as a way to share different experiences to children everywhere and not just the children in the class. The name came from a nickname that I called my daughter Taneka. She loved to talk. Yap-Yap, The Talking Horse is not only a book that teaches children morals, character and buildings their imaginations, it is also a workbook. The book teaches through a young boys experience with a horse that he believes can talk. They have all kinds of adventures together.
I believe that success is about more than just setting goals and working hard. It's also about mindset, self-care, and finding balance in all areas of your life. That's why I take a holistic approach to coaching and focus on helping my clients achieve both their professional and personal goals.
I created a workbook and an accompanying PowerPoint presentation for young ladies. During one of my mentoring workshops, I realized that it would be beneficial for the young ladies to have something tangible, not only to work on during the workshop, but to take home and review and keep up with their progress. The workshop was developed to help young ladies with bullying, self-esteem, goals and dreams and how they feel about themselves.
My mission is to inspire and empower individuals to live their best lives. Through my books and my podcasts. I share practical tips and strategies to help you achieve your goals and reach your full potential and best life.
Our mission is to unite diverse women of all backgrounds through incredible images in portraits in photography, who are living with a purpose, towards a common goal of harmonizing our talents, skills and abilities, into a network to honor and preserve the positive images of all women. We intend to change how women are viewed and our perception of ourselves by delivering powerful messages through and to the subjects and to the surrounding community. Our vision is to form an alliance among all women, the young and mature, of Sisters in Harmony and that it will be a recognized and respected movement. We envision that women of all colors, shapes, and sizes from all over the world will be encompassed in a whole new light. By using art, through photography, it will express the beauty within all women and allow them to tell a story of their own. We will uplift and dignify women once again in our communities and around the world. Our private, virtual community where the group networks, exchanges dialogue, write poetry, schedules and conduct events and shares family serves as a central point of communication and as our vehicle to accomplish this goal. SiH is a 501C(3) organization.
Visualization is a powerful tool for manifesting change, not only in your life, but in the world around you. Take time to visualize yourself achieving your goals, living the life you desire. and empowering others and inspiring change. The more vividly you can see it, the more likely it is to become a reality.
Setting goals is important, but setting SMART goals is even more effective especially when you are willing to change and to make your changes make a difference. SMART goals and changes are Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Time-bound. They give you a clear roadmap for achieving your dreams.
Overthinking and analysis paralysis can hold you back from achieving your dreams. Get out of your head and take action. Trust your intuition and take calculated risks.
